Terrain aspect analysis

You will learn the direction in which the slope faces, expressed in terms of the cardinal directions. Terrain aspect is also referred to as the orientation of the terrain:

• area and percentage share of the individual aspect directions
• distribution of terrain aspect on a map divided into 8 directions
